Pineapple Sweetie Pie

Lord Honey, no matter the season, when y'all whip up my "Pineapple Sweetie Pie," all you'll taste is warm weather and sunshine. A taste of the tropics is just the medicine to get y'all through a rough winter or enjoy on the veranda as a sweet summertime treat.

Pineapple Sweetie Pie

Makes 2 pies

Ingredients:

¾ c sugar

½ c brown sugar

½ c butter, melted

1--15.5 oz. can crushed pineapple

5 Tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tsp vanilla

4 eggs

¼ tsp salt

2 unbaked pie shells

Whipped cream & maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350

· Add all ingredients to mixing bowl

· Beat until incorporated

· Pour into unbaked pie shells

Bake in preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes—until set and light brown.

Tip: Garnish entire pie or a slice at a time.
