Put some Corn in Your Puddin'

Lord Honey, corn puddin' is a sweet and creamy Southern delicacy that makes ever' meal a special occasion. Y'all will know what I'm talkin' about when you serve my "Lip-Smackin' Southern Corn Puddin" at your next get-together.

Lip-Smackin’ Southern Corn Puddin’

Serves 8

Ingredients:

½-cup butter

4-TBSP flour or cornstarch

¾-cup milk or half & half

¼-cup white sugar or honey

½-tsp onion powder

3-eggs, beaten

1-can whole kernel corn 15.25 ounce size, drained

2-cans cream style corn, 14.75 ounce size

1-tsp salt

½-tsp pepper

Directions:

· Preheat oven to 375°.

· Place a medium oven-safe skillet over low heat, add the butter and allow to melt, add the flour and stir till combined, turn off heat.

· Add the milk, sugar, onion powder and eggs; whisk to combine.

· Stir in the 3 cans of corn, add salt and pepper, stir.

· Place in preheated oven and bake for 45-50 mins or until slightly brown.

· Serve hot.

Tip: For an extra treat add cooked crispy bacon or cooked sausage.
